(a) IIT Roorkee-NBCC Research Centre

• The idea behind the Centre is to foster sustainable growth and to establish synchronization between construction industry and research fraternity so that more and more practical utility of the developed product and technology may be ensured. The IIT Roorkee - NBCC (India) Limited, the project based at GNEC is engaged in Durable Construction related research and Development activities with an objective of attaining the goals of SUSTAINABLE CIVIL INFRASTRUCTURE. The IIT Roorkee & NBCC Joint program opened two new research laboratories to enhance Research and Development related Testing’s at GNEC and these two research labs specially designed and equipped with state of the art equipment for advanced characterization of wide range of infrastructure materials. These laboratories provide advanced tools and expertise for the pursuit of academic and industrial research
