Disaster Recover Mirror Site for ERP is being established at GNEC Campus. It can be used when server at primary data centre at main campus becomes unusable due to failure or disaster. The hardware details for this centre includes HPE DL560 Gen9 CTO Server (3 No), Barracuda Load Balancer 640 ADC (2), HPE SN3000B 24/12 FC Switch (2), HPE 3 PAR Store Svr SPS Service Processor, Controller Self (2 No), HPE 3PAR 8200 2N+SW Storage Field Base, Hard Disk Drive (18).
Realizing the need to increase knowledge base through discussion among students, as well as to prepare them for case studies / projects and assignments a special room has been developed opposite to Video Conferencing Room to share their thoughts and views in a congenial atmosphere

Computer Lab with 40 high End Desktop in Linux and Windows Environment.
GNEC supports virtual learning environment at GNEC library with 4 high end desktop computers (Dell Desktop Core i5 Processor Model OptiPlex x3050 with 4GB Ram, 1 TB HDD. You can record and create your own e-learning material (video lectures) using the above software and with the help of a high quality Blue Yeti USB microphone and Logitech c922 Pro Stream 1080P Webcam (these are available at GNEC). An e-learning lab has been established and all available e-learning software (such as Adobe Captivate 10 0, Adobe Lightroom 6 Multi AOO, Adobe Presenter 11, Course lab 2.4 (E-learning Authoring Software), Microsoft Content Learning System (E-learning Authoring Software) were made operational. You can create video based e-learning material here. We are slowly developing Virtual Reality systems which can be effectively integrated with education. Also successfully organized training programs on Machine Learning & its Applications by accessing Matlab License Server of Institute Computer Centre Main Campus. Also conducted two months course on Java and Python.
9 LED/LCD projectors with 8 motorized screens are available at GNEC. Out of these projectors one supports 4k resolution (3,840x2, 160) meaning that you can project high resolution images and videos. One document Camera is also available to project documents. High quality audio facilities (with array speakers and Audix OM35 microphones) from world famous manufactures like Beyer dynamic, Cloud Electronics and Audix are also available. Full HD multimedia supported laptops (HP Pavilion 11-Ad031TU), Electronic writing pads (iball Pen Tablet PD-8068U). Logitech laser pointers with enhanced spotlight pointing facilities are also available at GNEC. Also portable PA system has been developed which can provide its service within a 15 min. notice in any part of GNEC. It can handle 200 gathering. This can also take care of two microphones and 4 Nos. of musical instruments. Thus it can handle a small musical band or programme. Headworn, lapel and hand held wireless microphones are available with this system. Audio and Video recording facility to record national and international lectures and events have been created. In fact 4K studio quality recording is now possible at GNEC. Recently Alumni Noida Chapter full coverage was done using open source streaming software and 4K studio Camera.
The video conference room is a state-of-the art 100 Seater hall, equipped with projector and three 46” LCD display along with latest video conference facility from Polycom. We have already established VC link with IITR campus. Now it is possible to teach students at GNEC campus from IITR campus (using VC facilities available at Continuing Education Dept. and LHC) through this link. One to many video links can also be provided from GNEC meaning that,at the same time, from GNEC you can do streaming to many other places of India/Overseas having VC facilities. This will increase our reach to conduct national or international courses.
Wi-Fi equipment comprising of 70 wireless access points across GNEC Campus.
The GNEC provides hostel facilities for students and staff. The hostels are located within GNEC Campus. For this purpose, 104 air-conditioned accommodation (double bed rooms) and 3 suites are available. Shortly, mess facility will start at GNEC. Catering facilities can be hired for seminars and conferences. The mess facility for a small group (15-20) has been started. This facility offers Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Coffee and Tea to GNEC inmates. An on-line booking system of Filed Hostel of GNEC has been implemented. The kitchen & serving equipment have been procured to modernize the mess facility. The dining hall is upgraded with very good quality dining tables and furniture. A LED TV has been put in the dining hall with improved ambience. The solar heating system of GNEC is perfectly working and in process of installing temperature control. An IP PBX service for enhanced internal communication in GNEC has been installed in four suite room and administrative office. This will cut down wiring cost and will improve the capability of the system. The heavy duty washing machine has been installed at Field hostel.

The 15 kVA DG Set in the field hostel of GNEC once declared un serviceable by E&W was got repaired and tested with backup support of 100KVA UPS for first three floors at Field Hostels in case of any power break down for minimum 4 hours. Now with 15 KVA DG Set, we are in a position to supply uninterrupted power to field hostel and reduce the consumption of diesel as well. Additional 10 KVA UPS backup support has been implemented at Data Centre Recovery Site (With existing 100 KVA UPS support).

Greater Noida is not connected with trains, you may only reach it either by a bus or by a cab. The nearest airport is the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in Delhi. You may want to take a cab or metro, from the IGI Airport, for a comfortable journey.
If you are at the international airport (terminal T3), you may take the airport metro to the Botanical Garden Metro-station, however, if you are coming from the domestic airport (terminal T1) then you may first take a cab/auto-rickshaw to the nearest Metro-station (Delhi Aero City), from there you may take the metro to the Noida City Centre Metro-station. Once you reach Noida City Centre Metro-station, than you may hire cab/auto-rickshaw to noida sector 71 Metro-station, you may take metro till Pari chowk Metro-station. From Pari Chowk you may hire cab/auto-rickshaw to reach GNEC.
If you are at the terminal T1, you may take one of these buses to reach Botanical Garden, Sec 38, Noida. Else, if you are coming from the terminal T3, you may take one of these buses. After reaching Botanical Garden you may take any of the AC/non-AC Gov buses to reach Pari Chowk (which is the last stop). From Pari Chowk you may hire cab/auto-rickshaw to reach GNEC.
You may hire a prepaid cab or you may also try an Uber or Ola, both have good service round-the-clock.
If you are at the New Delhi (NDLS) railway station, you may take one of these buses. Or, if you are coming from Nizamuddin (NZM) railway station, you may take one of these buses to reach Botanical Garden, Sec 38, Noida. After reaching Botanical Garden you may take any of the AC/non-AC Gov buses to reach Pari Chowk. From Pari Chowk you may hire cab/auto-rickshaw to reach GNEC.
